Abraham was born on March 9, 1930 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Ernest and Rebecca Parker.
Abraham graduated from Steubenville High School and then went on to join the U.S. Army. He was a very intelligent man and even took a few medical and law college courses. He was an employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Mill, where he eventually retired.
He was a outgoing person and an advocate for fair housing. He liked talk radio shows and was a genuinely friendly person. He would see ride around in his station wagon and stop to speak everyone. Abraham truly enjoyed talking on the party line back in the day.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Earnest and Rebecca Parker, one brother; Clarence Parker, one sister; Nellie Parker, and a special companion; Annie Edwards.
On August 10, 2014 Abraham departed this life to find rest from his labor. He leaves to mourn his daughter; Ronni Edwards, a special niece; Bernadette Parker, and a host of relatives and friends.
