Alan Kendall Salter was born in Weirton, West Virginia on December 19, 1959 to the late union of the late Irvin and the late Judith Salter.

He was a graduate of Weir High School.  He was a fantastic swimmer and swam for the Weir High. Alan enjoyed having a good time and entertaining. Fishing was also a peaceful getaway, he enjoyed.

He worked many years with his father in the family owned and operated local business S &P Carpet.

Alan truly loved his family.  His memory will forever live on within their hearts. He leaves to cherish is legacy a beloved daughter, Tiara Chantal Salter; dear granddaughters, Drema Unique and Desire Monet Salter; his devoted siblings, Marc Irvin Salter and Tara Salter-Haines; an aunt whom he resided with, Ann Marlene Dumas; a host of other relatives and many friends.
