Alyce Denise "Face" Johnson, 56, of Youngstown, Ohio, peacefully entered eternal rest on July 18, 2026, in Youngstown, Ohio. She was born on May 26, 1970, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Donald Johnson and Jacalyn Rose.

Alyce devoted her career to the nursing field, where she cared for others with compassion, patience, and dedication. Helping people was not just her profession; it was her calling. She dreamed of opening a shelter for the local homeless and less fortunate, a reflection of her generous heart and unwavering desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Alyce found joy in life's simple pleasures—spending time with family and friends, enjoying gatherings and outings, cooking, and writing about her life experiences. She had a happy, bubbly personality, a beautiful smile, and an infectious laugh that could brighten any room. Her warmth, kindness, and loving spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Her greatest pride and joy was her family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved daughters, Janneel Tate, Shalaina Johnson, and Brandee Shepherd; her sons, Nicolas Shepherd and Robert Shepherd; and her cherished grandchildren, Jameire Johnson, James Tate, A'marie Shepherd, Bryson Torres, Xiya Johnson, Adonis Shepherd, Tahjman Davis Jr., and Tahjace Davis.

Alyce was preceded in death by her father Donald Johnson; mother, Jacalyn Rose; her late ex-husband, Robert Lee Shepherd; her ex-father-in-law, Lenard Shepherd; her sister, Nicole Benton; and her dear family friend, Charles Moore.

Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that her love, laughter, compassion, and beautiful spirit will remain with us always. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and in the family she loved so deeply.

Forever Loved. Forever Remembered. Forever Missed.
