Angela Gilliam Butler, 47, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Trinity Medical Center West. Angela was born on November 24, 1973, in Steubenville to Sharon (Arkley) Gilliam and the late Richard Gilliam.

Angela was a Christian by faith. She graduated from Steubenville "Big Red" High School. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching movies and listening to music. She had a kind heart and was willing to help anyone who graced her presence.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Gilliam, and her grandmother, Donna Holmes.

Surviving is her mother, Sharon Wright; three children, Deon Freeman, Nikita Pearson, and Savannah Butler; her siblings, Brooke Hill, Daniel, and Tara Gilliam; her former husband, Jeremy Butler; a special cousin, Crystal Walenciej; special friends, Sherry Hawkins and Brandy Bridges; a host of, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on May 1, 2021, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of her memorial service, 1 p.m. at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL AND LIFE EVENT CENTER, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio.
