Obituary

Anthony "Frosty" Leverne Taylor Sr., 66, of Weirton, West Virginia, died in the comfort of his home on Friday, February 7, 2020. He was born June 14, 1953, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Clinton and Dorothy Elizabeth (Sims) Taylor.

He attended Weir High School, class of 1971. He was retired from the Weirton Steel Corporation Tin Mill where he worked for many years. He additionally served his country in the United States Army. Frosty was a man of God. He set him first over everything in his life. He loved R&B music especially songs by Marvin Gaye. He also enjoyed playing PS4; Madden being his favorite game. He was a kind man and would give the shirt off his back to anyone. Most of all he loved his family and friends dearly and his memory shall evermore be in their hearts.

Frosty was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Clinton "Duke" Taylor, and George "BeBe" Sims.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Crystal A. Taylor; children, Anthony and Dorothy Taylor; grandchildren, Desirea Tingler, Sir'Kingston J. Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Legennd Taylor, Trea Taylor, Sir'Gucci Taylor, and Jayleigh Taylor; his brothers, William "Pop" Sims and Charles "Chick" Taylor; nieces, Laura Wade, Nikkia Wise, Sasha Sims, April Sims, Wendy Sims, Olivia Sims, Frances Spencer, LouAnn Rice, and Michelle Sims; his nephews, George Sims, Charles "C.T." Taylor Jr., William "Man Man" Sims, and Katone Sims; a host of other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at the GREGORY-MARTIN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Gregory-Martin Funeral Home. LLC.
