Our precious angel, Anelé Venise Escobar, was born on June 18, 2025, at ARH in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. On Sunday, September 28, 2025, in South Williamson, Kentucky, she returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. Though her time with us was short, the love she gave and the joy she brought will last forever.

Anelé was the treasured daughter of Olivia Malaun Artis and Jose Thomas Escobar Jr. She was the light of their lives, their little blessing, and their greatest joy. Her sweet spirit also touched the hearts of her big sister, Kamira Dogan, and her big brother, Dominique Dogan Jr.

She will always be remembered with love by her grandparents, Jose Escobar Sr., Mashawna Blackwell, and great grandmothers, Kathy Hairston, and Hessie Avitia; her uncle, Harley Grimm; her aunts, Cordilla Escobar, Jennifer Chapman, DeAndia Artis, Amauni Hairston, special cousins/aunties, Olliena Hairston, and Mikazia Rhodes; and her devoted godmother, Tyshira Joplin. She was also adored by her nana, her daddy, her mommy, her sisters, and so many other family members and friends who were blessed by her life.

Anelé now rests in Heaven alongside those who went before her, including her Mawmaw Pamela Louise Grimm; her great-grandfather Raul Escobar; her great-great-grandmother Helen Fullen; her great-uncle Johnny Fullen; her great- grandmother Nora Artis; and her grandfather Bennie Artis.

Though she was with us for only a moment, Baby Anelé gave us a lifetime of love. She was a gift we will carry in our hearts forever — a little angel who will always be ours.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday at Christ Temple Church,  Williamson, West Virginia 25661. Viewing will begin at 12:00 noon followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens.
