Beverly Ann (Née Jones) Martin, 69, was born in Weirton, West Virginia on May 30, 1949, to the union of John and Elizabeth (Phares) Jones. On May 30, 2018, the Lord called her home.

She was a Baptist by faith. Beverly was a Weir High School graduate and later attended Jefferson Community College where she studied Business Management.

She enjoyed puzzles especially crossword puzzles. She was an avid TV watcher a couple of her favorites were:   NCIS, and Walker, Texas Ranger. She had a thing for popping bubble wrap and changing the arrangement of her furniture. More than anything she loved her family and valued the quality time they spent together.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lloyd Phares; and one sister, Genevieve Moxley; and two children, Stacy and Vern.

Beverly is survived by her devoted husband, Mr. Robert Martin; three loving children, Stacy, LaKeisha, and James Jones; her stepchildren, Rick Martin, of Columbus, OH; Scott Martin, of Steubenville, OH; Renate (Bob) Clements, of Toronto, OH; Kent, Robbie, and Todd, all of South Carolina one brother, Nathaniel (Carolyn) Jones; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Jones; a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Beverly Martin fund through the funeral home.


Visitation will be held on June 6, 2018, 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. All services will be held at Gregory-Martin Funeral Chapel, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
