Brittany Francher Littlejohn-Brown, 32, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2019.
She was born on September 29, 1986, in Steubenville, Ohio. She is the daughter of Cheryl Reid and the late Franklin Littlejohn, Jr.
Brittany is a loving mother to Brooklyn Reid and Gavin Brown. Brittany is also a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and great friend. Brittany loves her children, family, and friends. She loves to smile laugh, and have fun. Brittany is a graduate of Steubenville High School. Brittany is a Christian by faith and grew up attending Quinn AME Church in Steubenville where she once served as an usher and stewardess. She also served in the Children's Choir, and as the Young Peoples Department leader.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Merle and Lazarus Roland Reid, Francis and John F. Murray; paternal grandfather, Franklin Littlejohn, Sr. and her paternal great-grandmother, Emma Susie Alfred; an aunt, Judy Manson; two uncles, John IIII, and Gary Murray, and two loving cousins, Cierra Grant, and Debo Williams; and most recently her dear brother, William David Ross, III, on July 11, 2019.
Surviving is her mother, Cheryl Reid of Steubenville, Ohio; her step-mother, Genieve Littlejohn; her two beautiful children, Brooklyn Reid, and Gavin Brown; her sisters, Arabia (Gerrico) Shanklin, of San Diego, California; Andrea (Rasheen Mathis) Herron, of Connecticut; Ashley Ross-Reid, of Columbus, Ohio; Brandy (Jalin Beads) Ross, and Ashleigh Harris, both of Steubenville, Ohio; and Analiese Ross, of Columbus, Ohio; her brothers, Franklin Littlejohn, III, Quinton Littlejohn, and Trey Jeter all of Steubenville, Ohio; Michael, and Andrew Ross, both of Columbus, Ohio; and Charles Walton, of Akron, Ohio; her paternal grandmother, Sylvia Jean Littlejohn-Harris, of Wintersville, Ohio; her "NaNa", Loralei Ross of Columbus, Ohio; her aunts, Eleanor Archie, of Steubenville, Ohio; Monica Lockette, of Dallas, Texas; Heather Littejohn, of Columbus, Ohio; Justine and Genevieve Murray, both of Steubenville, Ohio; Terra Ross, of Columbus, Ohio; Jackie Wise, of Steubenville, Ohio; and Pamela Smith; uncles, Edward (Vickie) Littlejohn, Jerry Murray, and Roland (Jill) Reid, all of Steubenville, Ohio; David Grant of Weirton, West Virginia; Michael (Joy), and John Ross, both of Columbus, Ohio; Keith (Leonette) Murray, of Steubenville, Ohio; and Brian (Kim) Porter, of Columbus, Ohio; nieces, Karmyn Ross, Aubrei Rainbow, all of Steubenville, Ohio; My'Kelle Coleman of Connecticut; Antaneijah Ross, Aionna Ross, and Mylia Reid, all of Columbus, Ohio; nephews, Kingston Beads, Je'khi Harris, and Chance Harris, all of Steubenville, Ohio; Demetrius of Columbus, Ohio; Ja'Quin McComb of Connecticut; Areilyus and Avihon Ross, both of Columbus, Ohio; the grandparents of her daughter, Deanna and Richard Hines; and the father of Brooklyn, Maurice Hines; a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will convene on Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Second Baptist Church, 717 Adams Street in Steubenville, Ohio. The family will receive friends starting at the 3 o' clock hour until the time of service, 4 p.m. Pastor Marvin E. Barner, Jr. will deliver the eulogy.
