Caroline L. "Smurf" Caffee-Smith-Services will be held Friday September 4, 2015 at 11 am  at F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home for Mrs.Caroline L. "Smurf" Caffee-Smith, 67, Youngstown, departed this life suddenly Monday August 31,2015 at 8:30 am at Morthside Medical Center. She was born January 6, 1948 in Columbus Ohio, the daughter of the late Claude Caffee & May Barrett Caffee. She was a retired RN, working with various Home Health Care facilities. She was a member of The Jerusalem Church of Youngstown, where she served in the choir, on the Usher Board and also the Kitchen Committee. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 sons; Claude "Chris" Bogan of Columbus , Cameron W. Smith of Youngstown, a step-daughter; Mrs. Deirdre (Mark) Wallace of Youngstown, a sister; Beverly Shouse of Columbus, 4 grandchildren; Claude R. Bogan, Kindell & Kordell Smith of Columbus and Breyonna Smith of Campbell. Her godsister Veronica Thurston of Youngstown. A special friend Ann Dare of Columbus, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Fredrick Caffee and Larry Robinson, 3 sisters; Marsha Horton, Barbara Hamilton, and Wilma Ware. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
