Carolyn Miller was born December 21, 1940, in Harrison County, Ohio, to the union of William and Valgene (Hython) West. She was called to eternal rest on Thursday, March 3, 2022.

Carolyn loved her church and was a faithful member of Triumph of the Cross Parish in Steubenville, Ohio. She graduated from Smithfield High School in Smithfield, Ohio. She loved animals and had a soft spot for cats. Carolyn took pride in being the matriarch of her family. She embraced every minute of developing lasting memories with her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Valgene West; and two siblings, Charles M. West, and Kim E. West.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory two brothers John M. West and Richard M. (Roberta) West; four sisters, Debra E. (Reverend Craig) Smith, Michele West, Jacqueline E. Cash, and Jean Lewis; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

No services will be observed by the public.
