CAROLYN SMITH SWEARENGEN

CAROLYN (SMITH) SWEARENGEN was born November 23, 1955 in Steubenville, Ohio to Laddie C & Virginia (Daniels) Smith.

Carolyn graduated from Big Red High School and Pitt Duquesne College. She was an Executive Assistant for the Jefferson County Metropolitan Housing Authority.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Laddie and Virginia (Daniels) Smith, Grandfather Thomas Smith and Grandparents Nathanial & Minnie (Smith) Adams; and Brother Todd Lockhart.

Carolyn leaves behind her children, L'Tanya Swearengen (Savannah, GA) and James Chico (Alice) Swearengen (Steubenville, OH); Grandchildren L'Kaylyn and Vincere Swearengen (Savannah, GA), Amaria Swearengen (Steubenville, OH) and Deshaun, Danika & Desmond Smith of Steubenville; Sisters L'Tanya Green (District Heights, MD), Sheila Smith (Pittsburgh, PA); Brothers Laddie Smith Jr (Steubenville, OH), Eric (Stephanie) Smith (Aliquippa, PA); Stepmother Carlean Smith (Pittsburgh, PA) and "Special Mom" Virginia Johnson (Canton, OH). She will be sadly missed by her children. She will also be sadly missed by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
