Carolyn Yeager, 72, was born on July 15, 1945, to the union of Wayne J. and Laura J. (Walters) Gorrell. On July 10, 2018, she passed away at Sienna Woods Nursing Home in Wintersville, Ohio.

Carolyn was a Luthern by faith. She was a Steubenville High School graduate. She worked as a caretaker for the disabled.

She was a mother above all things as well as a great sister. She enjoyed dancing. Carolyn had a kind heart, she loved her family and friends unconditionally. She will be missed by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Laura Gorrell; her son, Robert L. Yeager; and one brother, A. Lester Gorrell.

Surviving are her son, Brian Yeager; her sister, Thelma (David, Sr.) Firman; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 nephews; 2 nieces; a host of other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend services on Monday, July 16, 2018, 1 p.m., at Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, Ohio.
