Cathy J. Davies passed away on January 2, 2022, at Trinity West Medical Center in Steubenville at the age of 52. She was born October 15, 1969, in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of John Davies and Shirley Schultice.

Cathy was full of life and always spoke her mind. She was an excellent baker. Cathy also enjoyed spending time outdoors in the sun. She was an excellent mother, loyal friend, loving sister, and dear aunt. She kept to herself and did not allow many people in her personal life but if she did then she considered you to be family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. When she wasn't with them, you would likely capture her watching her favorite shows with her companion Paul.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Shirley Davies; and four siblings, Mark, Monte, and Tammy Gualtieri, and Theresa Justice.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Shane Davies and Gloria Goff; her companion of several years, Paul Goff; grandchildren, Navaija and Kylan Burns; Janiyah Dodd; Nyliyah, NayAudra, Jamison, Janessa, and Jayonna Goff; stepson, James Goff; brothers, Jackie Davies, and Bill (Doreen) Gualtieri; and one sister, Kelly (Tim) Stiles; a son-in-law, Michael Burns; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at noon at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio. Pastor Rickey Dawson will deliver the funeral eulogy.
