Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow but remember me with every tomorrow.
Remember the joy the laughter the smile. I've only gone to rest a while.
Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.
So dry your eyes and remember me not as I am now but as I used to be.
I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts I've only gone to rest a while.
As long as I have the love of each of you I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.

Charmaine Lakeisha Lester, 40, passed away on January 27, 2021, in Steubenville, Ohio. Charmaine was born in Mobile, AL on April 25, 1980. She is survived by daughters Zolie Lester and Raven Lester of Steubenville, OH son Jermaine Lester of Columbus, OH sister Savagha (Jermaine) Phelps of Spartanburg, SC sister Natasha Lester of Mobile, AL brother John (Maelynn) Lester of Willow Springs, MO mother Bettie Turner of Mobile, AL grandmother Lula Mae Lockett of Mobile, AL and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter LaShala Lester of Mobile, AL father Myron Lester of Weirton, WV and aunt Lula Mae Wilson of Mobile, AL.

A public visitation  will be held at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL AND LIFE EVENT CENTER, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio, on Tuesday February 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
