Chauncey Maurice Roseberry, Sr., departed this life March 22nd, 2016 in Cleveland, Ohio. The son of the late Farris Roseberry and the late Geneva Bryant of Steubenville was born October 27, 1954 in Steubenville, Ohio.

He was a graduate of Steubenville High School. He was a proud member who was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. He retired from the VA hospital in Cleveland. He was also a member of The Word Church and an active member of various recovery groups and programs.

Chauncey was wed to his late wife Helen I. Roseberry on March 17, 1977 in Winterville, Ohio. He acquired a beautiful family which includes: one daughter, Tamisia L. Roseberry of Cleveland and three sons, Chauncey M. Roseberry Jr., of Pennsylvania, Farris Poole of Columbus and Cedrick M. (De'Shelle) Roseberry of Fairbanks, Alaska. He became a grandfather of six, Raeshawn, Dezuan, Paryse and Imani Roseberry, Treyvon Poole and Cherelle Roseberry and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by three sisters, Orpah Moore, Katie Lavender and Donna West. He had four brothers, Jaime Bryant, John Thomas Bryant (deceased), Albert Brown and Gary Roseberry. He also leaves behind nephews whom he loved and assisted in raising as his own and a host of nieces, relatives and friends.

Chauncey truly loved his family and was the "true" patriarch. He was a father, brother, friend, coach and mentor to ALL. If you were blessed to have met him, it was truly a memorable experience.
