Obituary

Clint L. Thomas was born in Steubenville, Ohio, to Emma Hython and Eugene Burns. Clint passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023, at his residence.

Clint was a God Fearing man. He never put himself into a box of any religion; he knew that God (the spirit) was the spirit that dwelled in every religion and every living thing on earth. He was an introvert by nature and was sometimes misunderstood as being mean because of his stern personality, this was Clint's way of keeping people at bay so he could Love you the way he wanted to. In fact, Clint was a very good-hearted person who would help anybody, he may cuss and fuss but afterward would give you the shirt off of his back if he Loved you. Clint was a great basketball player, football player, and baseball player as well, but basketball and baseball were his favorite sports to play. He Loved his Dallas Cowboys and he liked the Cleveland Indians. Clint loved Music and enjoyed just riding around and listening to his music. He loved his family and friends. Clint Thomas (Aka) Dirty Harry had a Heart of Gold draped in a black cape. He was someone very special and Loved and will never be forgotten. Clint Thomas was a city of Steubenville legend.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in life after death by one sister, Annette Hython.

Left behind to honor and Cherish his memories are his son Lavel Hicks; grandchildren Nygeria and Zahir Hicks; his Brothers Andrew (Lisa Simmons) Hython, Andre (Joanie) Hython, Brawson (Kim) Hython, Jay Burns, Darryl Burns, Clyde Barker; sisters Lisa Withers and Deborah Jones; his separated wife Karla Thomas and the first Love of his life, Lavels mother, Darlene Hicks; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of Clint's life celebration, 2:00 p.m. at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio
