IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Coyet Jeter,
Jr.
May 14, 1931 – August 29, 2019
Elder Coyet Jeter, Jr. was born on May 14, 1931, in Weirton, West Virginia. He was born to the union of Elder Coyet Sr. and Mary (Hopkins) Jeter.
He was raised in Godliness and was a holiness filled man that served the Lord all of his life. He was a member of Second Chance Church of God in Christ and served as the assistant pastor. He served his country and was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked and retired from Weirton Steel Corporation.
Elder Coyet Jeter loved the Lord, his family, and his church. He was a very humble man and very respected. Even with his quiet demeanor, he made his presence known. His family was one of his greatest accomplishments and he was blessed with two children, Tim and Resi and a grandson, Austyn, whom he adored.
He shared his final days with his wife, Janet Graves-Jeter, and they enjoyed the time they had together. His kindness and gentle spirit will forever be cherished.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharlene Jeter in 2014.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Janet Graves-Jeter; his son, Timothy (Darlene) Jeter, of Irving Texas; his daughter, Resi Jeter, of Mansfield, Ohio; his grandson, Austyn Jeter, of Wintersville, Ohio; step-sons, Durant (Katie) Graves, of Baltimore, Maryland; Mark (Yvonnla) Graves, of Cleveland, Tennesee; and Tifton Graves, of Dayton, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Carol (Charles) Reed, Co-Pastor Shirley Jordan of Mansfield, Ohio; Ethelene Jordan, of Lordstown, Ohio; and Annie Jordan, of Mansfield, Ohio.
