Cynthia Diane King Pendergrast passed away on June 1, 2018 in Steubenville, Ohio quietly surrounded by her family.  She was born in Steubenville, Ohio to late Willie and Catherine King.

She was a Baptist by faith and a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  She was very active in her church and was a member of the Women's Choir, the Mass Choir and the Culinary Ministry.

She attended and graduated from Steubenville City Schools. She received her college degree in Accounting and Stenography. She worked for Ed's Quick Print, which she enjoyed tremendously.

Diane, as she was lovingly known, was a very kind-hearted person and cared deeply for family and friends. She had an awesome sense of humor and enjoyed laughing. She was hardly ever without a smile on her face. More than anything she loved her husband and her two daughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Charles and Willie King.

Diane will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be truly missed by  her husband,  Gary Pendergrast; her lovely daughters, Teryl and Catherine; her sister, Regina King; nieces, TeOnna Bradford and Tasha King;  nephews, Tion King and Desmond Adams; a host of other relatives, many dear friends and her church family.

Funeral Tuesday, June 5th at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 221 N 7th Street. Bishop Jermaine Moore, Pastor. Family will receive friends at 10:00AM and the funeral will follow at Noon.
