Obituary
Dan E. Hughes formerly of Steubenville, Ohio passed away November 12, 2013 in Trenton, NJ at his home.
Dan, more affectionately known as Chubby, was born in Wheeling, West Virginia to the union of Eldridge and Eva Hughes. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Wheeling.
Dan was a Veteran and served in the United States Army. He worked and retired from Rubber and Company after many years of service.
Chubby was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Cecil Johnson and a sister; Trevor V. Johnson.
He departed this life peacefully on November 12, 2013. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted sister, Mary Wade Lee of Steubenville, Ohio, nephews; Deniod Johnson of Trenton, New Jersey, Bertram Johnson of Steubenville, Ohio, nieces; Darla, Daycha and Melone Wade all of Steubenville, Ohio, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral, Thurs., Nov. 20, 2013, 11:00AM at Williams, Gregory and Martin Funeral Service, 411 N. 7th Street. Calling hours will begin at 10:30AM
Rev. Calvin McLoyd, Jr. of Second Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
