Darious "DD" Robinson

April 22, 2001 - April 7, 2021

Darious "DD" De'Andre Robinson, 19, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, in Boston, Massachusetts, due to cancer. He was the son of Bruce Robinson and Nancy Tipton both of Steubenville, Ohio.

He was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) in 2016. Darious was a fighter and a strong individual. He fought hard for 5 years and never gave up. DD was constantly smiling and remained optimistic through all of his hardships.

Darious was someone who brought a lot of energy and enthusiasm. He was the "funnyman" of the group. He loved to be around family and friends. He made everyone in his presence smile and laugh! He was protective and loving about the ones he loved the most. He was someone you could count on!

Darious was preceded in death by his sister, MiTia Pruitt; and grandfathers, Bruce Robinson and Marlon Thorn.

Darious will be missed dearly by his parents, Bruce Robinson and Nancy Tipton; stepfather, Duane Pruitt; his siblings, Ava Robinson, Tyzon, and Dy'Asha Pruitt; nephew, Drayce Morris; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 17, 2021, from 11 am until the time of service at 1 pm at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL AND LIFE EVENT CENTER, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio. Bishop Jermaine V. Moore, Sr., will deliver the eulogy. Private interment will take place at Union Cemetery.
