Darlene Boykin – Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc., for Ms. Darlene Boykin, 59, who departed this life on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Darlene was born, Aug. 23 1958, a daughter of Roscoe and Sallie Owens Boykin.

She was a retired cashier and food prep for Giant Eagle foods.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Ayesha, Ashley, Tyasia and Mary Boykin; two nieces, whom she reared, Batrina (Joseph) Dixon and Kareema Boykin; siblings Robert “Bobby” Owens Sr., Geraldine, Billy, William “Maine,” Jimmy, Dorothy “Dot,” and Margaret “Tot” Boykin; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren Riyan Boykin and Baileigh Owens; and a nephew, Thomas Owens.

Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
