Darryl Allen French, age 72, passed away on December 20, 2024, at Trinity West Medical Center in Steubenville, Ohio. Born on July 2, 1952, in Alliance, Ohio, he was the son of the late John French Sr. and the late Augustine Boycan.

Darryl was a devoted and loving father who took great pride in caring for his children. A graduate of Alliance High School, he enjoyed life's simple pleasures, including fishing and following his favorite teams, the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers. Darryl worked for many years as a laundry supervisor at Ohio Valley Hospital before retiring.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his children: Darcie French, Teresa French, Daylelinia French, Darryl Allen Jr., Cheryl French, Jeremy Brinson, Sunasia Black, Ra'Shee Black, Arrmon Askew, Frank Keltch, Rayquan Graham, Sharia Roseboro, and ShaKayla Roseboro. He is also survived by his grandchildren, including Naz Hawkins and Kalijah Petteway, and a host of other beloved grandchildren.

Darryl's siblings, William (Martha) Fields, John French, Douglas (Rachael) French, Lonnie (Jenie) French, Mark French, and Mason French, will forever hold his memory close, along with his companion of many years, Jackie Williams, and a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gregory-Martin Funeral Home.

Darryl's love, humor, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Darryl, as your legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved you.
