David Lee Temple, 70, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at the Laurels of Steubenville. David was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, on October 30, 1951, to Jesse Carl and Sara Helen (Mitchell) Temple.

David graduated from Brooke High School in Wellsburg, West Virginia. He worked and retired from Eagle Manufacturing Company. He enjoyed the outdoors and obtained utter peace in fishing. He also enjoyed a cold beer and Black & Mild. David was a family man, his wife and children were his World.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Carl Temple Sara Helen Temple; his wife and the love of his life, Cathy Lynn Temple; five siblings, Carl, Mary Ellan, Ed, Birney, and Shirley Temple.

He is survived by his two sons, Christopher Lee Temple (Jerrica) and Lance David Temple; one brother Louie (Judy) Temple; one sister, Becky (Ronald) Spearman; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 334 Cedar Avenue in Steubenville, Ohio.
