IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Delvin
Williams
May 14, 1987 – November 21, 2025
Delvin "Dude" Lamar Williams, 38, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away recently. He was born on May 14, 1987, in Steubenville, the son of the late Del Rico Williams and the late Kimberly Williams.
Delvin, affectionately known as "Dude," was raised with love and guidance by his late grandparents, JoAnn Johnson and Robert Johnson, who played a meaningful role throughout his life. Their influence stayed with him over the years.
Dude was known for his goofy personality, warm spirit, and the genuine way he connected with others. In his youth, he enjoyed wrestling and spent time as part of the Steubenville "Big Red" school community. He appreciated being outdoors, spending time with children, and caring for animals. He also enjoyed life's simple moments, whether relaxing with an Ice House beer or being around those familiar to him.
In later years, Delvin faced personal challenges, and those close to him recognized the difficulties he carried. Even through those struggles, he remained loved by his family and those who knew him.
He is survived by his two children, Josiah and Antonio. He also leaves behind his siblings Del Rico, Kimberly, India, Delisha, Beyunka, and Lamontia. He will be remembered fondly by his aunt Anitra Johnson, his uncle Rob, and a host of extended relatives and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to Gregory-Martin Funeral Home.
