Denise Holloway, 62, of Weirton, West Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at Valley Hospice Care Center North with her family by her side after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 11, 1957, in Weirton to the union of Nicola and Norma (Shoup) Marovich.

Denise was a devoted Christian and proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Denise was known to friends and family as strong willed, hard working, and compassionate. She never missed an opportunity to make those around her smile. She had a deep love for animals and enjoyed baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Mike Mavorich and Lawrence Wood.

She is survived by three children, Wesley (Brittany) Holloway, Sara Holloway, and Edward Walker; four grandchildren, Aubrey and Kolby Holloway; and Logan and Nicholas Walker; a significant other, Blaine Daughtery; her "granddog", Daisy Mae; a cat, Ozzie, and a love bird.

Per her wishes, no services will be observed by the public.
