Doretha Cochrane was born on March 23,1951, in Steubenville, Ohio. She passed away resting peacefully in the Lord on Thursday November 14, 2019. She was a Christian by faith, a soldier in the army of the Lord. She had a smile that would light up the whole room. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents the late Morgan and Dixie Mitchell; two sisters Lillie Belle Palmer, Lucy Petteway; and two brothers Henry Mitchell, and Thomas McClyde.

Leaving behind to cherish her love and memories are her children, Floyd (Janita) Cochrane III, Tasha (Thomas Moore) Cochrane, of Massillon, Rhyan (Deidre) Cochrane, of Steubenville; sister and brothers, Bertha Johnson of Pittsburgh, Kevin Mitchell of Columbus, Morgan (Peggy) Mitchell of Massillon and Robert (Sandra) Mitchell of Weirton; 14 Grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

"The Lord is my shepard, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and Mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Funeral is Thursday, November 21, 2019, at 12 Noon, Gregory Martin Funeral Home Chapel, 255 S. 7th Street, Steubenville, Ohio. The family will receive friends one hour before the start of the Homegoing Celebration at 11:00AM.

Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery Association.
