Edward "BJ" McCormick Jr. was born on May 9, 1981, to Edward McCormick and Annabelle Meto. He departed this life on Friday, January 14, 2022, to meet his Savior and family waiting for him in heaven.

Edward was known by BJ to everyone that knew him well. He enjoyed fishing and doing odd jobs to make his life more comfortable. BJ's life was taken from him and will be missed terribly.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irene and Eddy McCormick, Nancy and Dominick Meto.

He leaves behind his parents Edward McCormick Sr. and Annabelle Meto (Elmer Boyce); a son, Elijah Bable, who he loved dearly; three sisters, Tina (Thomas) Hahne, Vickie (Jesse) Burns-Johnson, and Irene; aunts, Pearl Williams and Anna (Ralph) Smith; uncles, James McCormick, Michael (Kristen) Meto, John (Bobbie Joe) Meto, Tom Meto, Dave Meto, and Dominick Meto Jr.; three nieces, Evita Gubbala, Emily Johnson, and Nicole Burns, nephew, Andrew Johnson; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Edward's entire family and friends will miss him dearly. Rest in eternal peace BJ, and we will see you again.
