On the early morning of July 12, 2026, our Father who art in Heaven called upon one of His beautiful angels to come home. We will celebrate the homecoming of E’Lexus from Texas, but we will always keep her alive in our hearts.
E’Lexus Francelle Harlo Conner, 16 years old, of Youngstown, Ohio, was born on September 29, 2009. She was the daughter of Emmett Franklin Harvey Conner, Sr. (Ed’Cia) and Yolanda E. Driver (Jessie).
E’Lexus attended Youngstown Community School and Valley Christian School, where she played basketball. In 2020, they took the MVGYB Division I Championship. At Valley Christian, she was also a cheerleader for the boys’ football and basketball teams.
E’Lexus also attended Cardinal Mooney High School during her freshman and sophomore years. At Cardinal Mooney, she was a cheerleader for the basketball and football teams and a member of the track team.
During her junior year, E’Lexus began attending Chaney High School and Choffin Career Center, where she took Public Safety, CPR, and worked with F.E.M.A.
E’Lexus excelled in every task she undertook and was a straight-A student. She was eagerly anticipating graduating as a member of the inaugural Senior Class of 2027 at the new Youngstown High School, proudly represented by the Defenders and their owl mascot.
During the summer, E’Lexus worked as a youth employee with organizations such as Eleven 23 and United Returning Citizens. She was actively involved in several community youth organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club, the Harambee Youth Organization, and Inspiring Minds Youngstown. Through these programs, she enriched her education, gained valuable knowledge about health, wellness, and personal development, participated in college and career readiness opportunities, and was exposed to a wide range of enriching experiences.
E’Lexus was a beautiful soul who accepted Christ as her Savior in 2023 at her church home, The Light Church. Her presence could light up any room, and she radiated joy, laughter, and love.
She was truly the life of the party, bringing warmth and positive energy wherever she went. Her vibrant personality, radiant smile, and infectious spirit naturally drew people to her. E’Lexus had a remarkable gift for making everyone she encountered feel welcome, valued, and genuinely loved. Known for her kind and compassionate heart, E’Lexus was always willing to help others. Whether it was offering a listening ear, words of encouragement, or a helping hand, she touched countless lives through her generosity and selflessness. She found joy in bringing happiness to those around her and made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Family meant everything to E’Lexus. She deeply loved her family, treasured her friendships, and shared a special bond with her siblings. E’Lexus loved the latest fashions and her Jordan tennis shoes.
