On January 31, 2016, Elwood "Kurt/Woody" Woodland was called home after a long hard battle with Myeloma Cancer. Elwood was born on September 5, 1964 in Steubenville, Ohio to his devoted mother Leona Ferrebee Roscoe.
He was a graduate of Steubenville High School. He worked a few positions within the community and made tons of friends at each of his employments, which ranged from the City of Steubenville to Long John Silvers.
He was a true outdoors-man and his passion was hunting and fishing. His family meant a lot to him and he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Elwood is survived by his wife, Samantha Elwood; his mother, Leona Roscoe; four sons, Brandon, Dustin (Melissa), Curtis (Stephanie), Brandon (Seneca); daughters, Natalia and Tanaia (Charles); 3 grandsons; and 3 granddaughters. Elwood is also survived by his 3 brothers, Jerome (Loretta), Robert (Chris), and Kenneth along with Pam the mother of his other children and his friend. He had many who loved him with countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
