Gail Darlene Rudolph, 72, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026. Born on March 15, 1954, Gail lived a life rooted in love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Gail was the beloved daughter of the late Lonnie Harris and Nellie Harris. She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Harris, who passed on August 15, 2009. She leaves behind a legacy carried on by her loving mother, her sisters Beverly Harris and Detra Harris, and a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her presence.
She was a proud and devoted mother to her children, Terrance V. Rudolph and Michelle A. Scott, and a loving mother in law to Kiye R. Rudolph and Samuel T. Scott. Gail’s greatest joy in life was her family, and she poured her heart into every generation that followed her.
She was a deeply cherished grandmother to Dondre Rudolph, Norell Rudolph, Imoni Rudolph, Terrance Rudolph Jr., Tristen Rudolph, Dylan Rudolph, Morgan Rudolph, Caleb Rudolph, Sakel Rudolph, Tyler Rudolph, Madison Rudolph, Maressa Carter, and Courtney Love. Her love extended even further as a proud great grandmother to Dondre Rudolph Jr., Amira Rudolph, Leilani Rudolph, Armani Rudolph, Santana Rudolph, Jayce Rudolph, and Jream Rudolph. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she found endless happiness in watching her family grow.
Gail was a woman full of life and personality. She had a deep love for music and could often be found singing, bringing joy and warmth to those around her. She was also a passionate sports fan, proudly cheering for LeBron James and her beloved San Francisco 49ers. She was known for always keeping herself together and was rarely seen without her red lipstick, a signature part of her style that everyone who knew her will always remember.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 827 Wilson Ave., Youngstown, Ohio 44505. Interment will follow at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
