Gladys Baker was born on January 12, 1951, in Williamson, West Virginia, to the union of Henry and Grace Towles. Gladys passed away in Charleston, West Virginia on January 5, 2022, at the age of 70.

She was raised in Aflex, Kentucky, and graduated from Belfry High School. Gladys was a member of Logan Street First Baptist Church in Williamson, West Virginia.

She leaves behind four loving children, Berry, Gary (Krista), Clarence Jr. "Chucky" Baker; and Raquel (Cedrick) Greene; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Logan Street First Baptist Church, 620 Logan Street in Williamson, West Virginia. The Rev. Gerald Dotson will deliver the funeral eulogy. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Maher, West Virginia.
