Glenda Lee Cartia was born on April 9, 1959, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to the union of Glenn Berger and Nancy (Humphrey) Werner. On July 29, 2018, she passed away to be with our Lord in Heaven.

Glenda was a Christian by faith. After completing high school, she pursued a higher education at Jefferson Community College and graduated with her associate's degree. She later become an educator focusing on teaching even up to her last days.

Glenda enjoyed cooking and truly had a skill for it. She was a person with a heart of gold, she did for anyone and at times would do for others before herself. Her kind heart and loving spirit will be missed by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Berger in 2012.

She leaves behind her two devoted daughters, Melody and Micayla Cartia; her mother, Nancy (James) Werner; a granddaughter, Harmony; a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held privately for her family at Gregory-Martin Funeral Home.
