Glover Jackson was born May 19, 1946 in Leary, Georgia to the late Allen Jackson, Sr. and Vearlie Mae Culbreath. Glover departed this life on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. He was married to the late Annie Brunette Jackson.
Glover accepted Christ at an early age and joined Saint Maryland Baptist Church in Leary, GA. Glover moved to Steubenville, Ohio in 1964 where he worked for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel for 22 years. He received an education at H.T. Singleton High School in Morgan, Georgia. In addition he received a trade degree in mechanics and enjoyed a life-long passion for working on automobiles. Glover served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1970.
He is preceded in death by his wife Annie Jackson; his father Allen Jackson, Sr.; his mother Vearlie Mae Culbreath; three brothers Allen Jackson, Jr.; Paul Jackson; and Norman Jackson; a sister Mary Ann Davis; two aunts Blanch Teel, Irene Solomon; two uncles James Soloman and Joe Soloman; and one stepbrother Evarard Culbreath.
Glover, a devoted and loving father leaves to cherish his memories three sons Travis Jackson, Todd (Tiffany) Jackson, and Bryce Jackson; brothers Phil (Juanita) Jackson; Robert (Johnnie) Jackson; sisters Joyce (Charles) Jenkins and Jean Quimby; stepbrothers and sisters Isaiah (Rosemary) Culbreath, Jr., Stanley Culbreath, Willastine Gilliam, and Isabell Dawson; his longtime companion Tawnya Cadegan; grandchildren Jordan, Kiara, Joshua, Ta'Lesha, Ashley, and Mylik; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and neighbors.Calling Hours
