Janenika L. Harton of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on August 8, 2020 at Trinity Medical Center. She was born on April 17, 1987 in Steubenville, Ohio to Michael Harris and Juliette Harton.

She graduated from Steubenville High School.  Janenika was a loving mother and adored her kids.  She prided herself in being a great homemaker to her family.  Janenika was an excellent cook and could bake and cook just about anything. She perfected an old family recipe "Creole Pork Chops" to another level of excellence.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Cody Harris; a maternal grandmother, Jane L. Harton and a paternal grandfather, Sylvania Harris.

Janenika is survived by her children: Jala, Mazie, O'Ryan, and Christian Minniefield, Journey and Adonis Johnson; her parents, Juliette Harton and Michael Harris; her grandmother, Vennie Lee;  her siblings, Marcus Harris, Jessica Harris, Jimmale  Harton, Michael  Harris, Romina Harris, Cody Harris, Tony Galloway, Donna Moore and Lance Moore; aunts, uncles, a host of other relatives and dear friends.

She will be sadly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Please observe the use of mask for the services on Friday, August 14, 2020, at 12 Noon at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL & LIFE EVENT CENTER 255 S. 7th Street, Steubenville, Ohio. The public viewing will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
