JEANANNE MARIE BOSTON THORN

April 6, 1967 – January 31, 2022

It is with fond memories and heavy hearts that we celebrate the life of Jeananne Marie (Boston) Thorn, 54, affectionately known as ReRe. She is remembered as a fearless woman who beat all odds, met the good and bad with a sharp wit, and stayed true to herself despite life's pressures to conform. Jeananne loved her family more than words can say.

Jeananne was born from the union of Martha Boston Hicks and Willie Boston Jr., arriving on April 6, 1967, in Steubenville, Ohio. Her favorite color was purple, and she loved butterflies. Jeananne was known for being fierce, bold, and confident. She walked her own path in life and was unafraid to be herself, a trait that gave her pride and one she appreciated in others.

Jeananne went through so much in life, facing every challenge with strength and courage. She believed that God made things happen for a reason and relied on Him to guide her through the difficult moments, which He always did. Jeananne was loved for her huge personality. She had a super sense of humor and could captivate a room with her authenticity. Jeananne's life made her a role model and a source of great advice.

Jeananne is preceded in death by her father, Willie Boston II.

Her children, Janese Boston, Jaquin Boston, and Myles Thorn, and grandchildren, Jahquez, Paris, Myles, Camryn, Brayla, Braylon, Skyla, and Journee, as well as a grandbaby that's due in July, are left to treasure Jeananne's memory.

Jeananne is survived by her mother Martha Boston Hicks, sisters Dianna Boston and Candace Harris, brothers Sir Boston and Willie Boston III (Brenda), many nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as step-sisters and brothers, and many friends.

In the eyes of her family, Jeananne was a shero. She will always be quoted for one of her favorite expressions, "Everything happens for a reason." A piece of Jeananne forever remains with her family; it's the voice in their head saying, "I love you more."
