John L. Brown, 62, of Weirton, West Virginia passed away July 27, 2016 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born on February 10, 1954 to the late William H. and Beatrice Brown.
He worked at Mountaineer Resort in security and later in housekeeping.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings, Geraldine Carr, Ethel Salter and Arthur Brown and a niece, Lisa Hoko.
John is survived by a daughter, Angela Brown; a son, Jeremy Bowers; grandsons, Paul, Jamal, Jazen; two stepsons that he helped raised, Jason and Johnny Staats; sisters, Janet Archie, Martha (Michael) Howard, brothers, William H. Brown, II, Charles (Bonnie) Brown; nieces and nephew, Kevin Brown, Toni McDuffy, Lonnie Carr, Clarence Carr, Michael Carr, Mark Carr, Marissa Howard, Michael Gilliam, James Thompson, James Archie, Shawn Bragg, Erik Archie; a host of other relatives and friends.
