John E. Saxton 66 of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on March 8, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Steubenville, Ohio to the union of the late Leroy, Sr. and Emma Lee (Brown) Saxton.  John attended school in both Toronto, Ohio and Steubenville, Ohio.  After graduating high school, John worked and later retired from Weirton Steel Corporation.  Currently, John was working with the Jefferson Apartments doing maintenance.

He was a Christian by faith.  John enjoyed fishing, grilling and his family.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Leroy, Jr., Freddy and Leon.

John is survived by his son, John A. (Molly) Saxton of Steubenville, Ohio; a granddaughter, MaKenna of Steubenville, Ohio; brothers, Paul (Marsha) Saxton of Steubenville, Ohio and Ernest Saxton of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Ethel Harris of Steubenville, Ohio and Leola Wilkerson of Columbus, Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
