Jonathan R. Jackson, 50, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on September 14, 2022, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rudolph Dixon and Phyllis Jackson.

Left behind to cherish his memory are "his girls" Asia Malone and Soniah Malone of Weirton, West Virginia; siblings Anthony (Deborah) Jackson of Steubenville, Ohio; Deidre (Rama) Mallika of Livingston, New Jersey; Brian Dixon and Cynthia (Dwight) Macon all of Steubenville, Ohio; Leta Motley of Cleveland, Ohio; and Tangela Dixon, of Cleveland, Ohio; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

"Uncle Jon" as he was known to most, was a graduate of Steubenville "Big Red" High School. He was a huge sports enthusiast. He loved spending time with his "crew" which included his brother Anthony; cousin Darren; best friend Manny; and his nephew Lil Anth. You would often find them out for an adventure, watching Pittsburgh Steelers football, camping, boating, playing Dominos, and just sharing fun late-night conversation. Jon admired "his girls; nothing brought him more joy than to see them happy. Jon was a barber and coach in Steubenville for many decades. He will be sorely missed by all and his kind spirit will always live on. "Fly high with your angels that are waiting for you in Heaven."
