Joseph Kenneth Rose, 40, of Steubenville, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018. Joseph was born on May 14, 1977 in Washington, D.C. He was the son of the late Sol Rose, Jr. and Mary (Cain) Rose, of Columbus who survives.

In addition to his father Sol, who passed in November 2014, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Ida (Hicks) Cain, and his paternal grandparents, Sol and Annie Rose.

He was a father to three beautiful daughters, Vayla Michelle Rose and Shyaira Marie Rose of Steubenville, and Gianna Marie Rose of Wheeling. He was a brother to Sol Rose, III, Allen Rose, and Lawrence Rose, all of Steubenville, Sher Rose of Columbus; and Sarah Ingram, Jameaka Ingram, and Jermaine Ingram of Coshocton. He was a loving uncle to Vanessa Rose, Averi Rose, Alesha Dunlevy, Bernadette Miller, Calree Rose, Caelyn Rose, Michael Evans, Isaiah Rose, Elijah Rose, Stephen Hairston, and Sa'Niah Hairston. He was also loved by many cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends as well. He was a fun-loving man, always in good spirits, and was loved by many. As he was too young, he fought a tough fight, and God said it was his time to come home. He will be missed dearly by all.
