Obituary

On Sunday, October 14, 2017, at Valley Hospice our precious Lord called Juanita Swearengin home.
Juanita was born on January 4, 1938, at 424 South Third Street in Steubenville, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late William "Horse Caller" Profit and Esther ( nee Clarke) Profit Davis.
She retired from St. Johns Medical Center as a domestic engineer. Juanita was a very good-natured woman and cared deeply for her community. She had a soft spot for children and served as a member of the LaBelle Neighbors Who Care as Treasurer for many years. She wanted to see all youth succeed.

Juanita was an excellent mother to her children whom she adored. She was an exceptional cook. She was a rock for her family and truly relished her children's accomplishments. Her children and grandchildren were her joy and there was nothing she would not sacrifice for them.
Juanita was proceeded in death by her parents and three siblings, William Profit, Sam Profit, and Gloria Profit-Pullie.
She is survived by her four accomplishments, Orlando (Brenda) Swearingen of Springfield, Missouri; LaRoyce Swearingen, Yurey Gholston (Charles Booker), and Omar Swearingen of Steubenville, Ohio; four sisters, Willie Belle Yates of Buffalo, New York; Mary (Nick) Barnes, Mary Jane Brown, & Elenor Profit all of Steubenville, Ohio; a host of numerous grand, great grand, and great-great-grandchildren; her former husband LeRoy Swearingen of Orange, New Jersey and a godson, Kym "Pie" Morgan, many other dear relatives and friends.
