June Vanessa Williams was born in Steubenville , Ohio, on September 5, 1961, to Ronald Williams Jr. and Josephine Edwards. On July 9, 2021, she passed away at her residence in Steubenville , Ohio.

Van was a very kind and loving person. She would give you the shirt off her back . She did not deal with many people and was a loner. If she was experiencing anything, she always kept it to herself. She enjoyed dancing and drinking her beer . She did not go anywhere without that cup !

She loved her two sons very much. She had so many beautiful dreams for the future , but God had other plans for her. We know that she is in a better place where there are no more pains and no more sorrows. God took her home . Thank you Jesus!

She was preceded in death by her parents , Ronald Williams Jr., and Josephine Washington; a brother , Del Rico Williams ; and one nephew , Ja'Ron Williams .

Left behind to cherish her memory are her sons , Bruce Pearson, and Jamal Williams ; sisters , LaTania Whatley , and Jackie Williams ; one brother , Ronald Williams ; a host of aunts , uncles , nieces , nephews , cousins , and friends .

Memorial Services were held Saturday, July 24, 2021.
