Kathy Livingston-Goodwin

August 3, 1955 - December 21, 2020

Kathy Colleen Livingston-Goodwin , 65, passed away December 21, 2020, in Pickerington , Ohio. She was born in Weirton , West Virginia, to the union of Donald and Betty Livingston.

Kathy attended Steubenville "Big Red" High School. In the year of 1973, she gave birth to her first son Dorian Livingston and still proceeded to graduate in 1974. Kathy's first job was at Ohio Valley Hospital as a candy striper, but soon after joined her father at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where she retired after 39 years of hard work. In those years she met Keith Jones , her first husband and they shared her lastborn Deonee Jones (Dink) in 1976. In the late 90's Kathy met James Goodwin, found love again, and became his wife .

Kathy was known for many things . She was kind, loving, and very outspoken. She was a hard worker but loved to take vacations and travel. For many years she would make sure she gathered her children , nieces , nephews , and grandchildren and plan a trip to create memories . Kathy was the glue to the family and will be loved and missed by many. She accepted Christ at a young age and was COGIC by faith .

She is preceded in death by her parents , Donald and Betty Livingston; her sister Donna Allen; and one nephew Terrell Livingston

She leaves to mourn her loss , her sons , Dorian Livingston, and Deonee Jones; twenty-three grandchildren , four great-grandchildren; her oldest brother, Anthony Jordan, with who she shares a birthday; one sister Tempy Long ; a host of nieces , nephews , and dear friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday , January 7, 2021, from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the GREGORY-MARTIN CHAPEL AND LIFE EVENT CENTER, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville , Ohio.

Favour is deceitful , and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised .
