Kellie D. Coffer, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 42.
Born on November 3, 1983, to his loving mother, Linda Coffer, Kellie was a man whose presence never went unnoticed. He had a way of walking into a room and instantly lifting the energy. His smile, humor, and spirit made people feel at ease.
Above all, Kellie was a devoted father and family man. His children were his world, and some of his happiest moments were spent simply being with them and those he loved. He had a natural gift for storytelling and always had a story to tell, often leaving everyone around him laughing or thinking long after the conversation ended.
He was known for being funny, loyal, caring, and giving. He was a true realist who kept it honest and real with everyone he met. Kellie was strong in ways that inspired others, and his kindness left a lasting impression. He brightened every room he entered and made people feel seen, heard, and valued.
A proud fan of the Green Bay Packers, Kellie enjoyed the simple things in life: family, laughter, and meaningful connections. He lived in a way that reminded others to appreciate those moments.
Kellie was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Though he is no longer with us, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on through his children, his family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his loving mother, Linda Coffer; his children, Kellie Coffer Jr., Quadir Coffer, Ke’Asia Coffer, Kelshon Coffer, Karter Coffer, Kristina Coffer, Kristian Coffer, and Kaiden Coffer; his sisters, Markea Coffer Schroeder (Leonard Schroeder), Dionne Coffer, and Sunny Coffer; and his brothers, Darnell Coffer, Eric Coffer, and Albert Coffer.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon at New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44507. Interment will follow at Tod Cemetery in Youngstown.
