Obituary
Lafa J. D. Banks was born in Steubenville, Ohio to the union of Samuel Leroy and Viola Cora Foutz. She passed away quietly on the evening of December 8, 2013 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church. Lafa loved to cook and play the organ.
Lafa was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Cora, brothers; Harold, Sylvester, Willard and Monte and a sister; Dorothy.
She leaves to cherish her memory a sister; Freda Hudson, her daughter; Dolores Anderson, sons; Everett (Cathy) Anderson, Billy (Sara) Anderson and Russell Jeter, a niece; JoAnna Hudson, a nephew; Ronald Hudson, a host of other relatives and friends.
