Medical Center.
Laura was a Christian by faith and a long-time member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Weirton West Virginia. She was their pianist for many dutiful years. She learned her craft at a young age and began playing at 12 years of age. She worked and retired from Weirton Steel Corporation and was a member of the 25-year club.
Laura met and married her former spouse, the late Francis Jennings, Sr., and their union was blessed with seven children. They remained friends as they reared their family until his death in 1984. She was a very sweet and hard-working woman who loved her family more than anything. She was always available for a loving word or supportive gesture. Her kindness will always be a guiding light and a true example of a virtuous woman for her family.
