Leslie Marie Smith, age 50, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024, at The Laurel's of Steubenville. She was born on January 24, 1974, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Carol Sue Smith and Jimmy Strong.

Leslie was known for her loving, caring spirit, tenacity in the face of challenges, and her ability to make everyone around her feel valued and heard. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend who cherished her time with family and friends. Leslie held a deep passion for her faith in God and her son, Isaiah. She dedicated much of her life to supporting local and virtual ministries while creating lasting memories with Isaiah.

Leslie is survived by her son, Isaiah Michael Lee Smith; her siblings, Brenda Smith, Jewel (Sherri) Smith, the late Michael "Chic" Smith, Lisa Smith, and Gina "Beanie" Jeter; her great-aunt Cherry (Joe) Bennett; extended family members, including the late Naomi "Momma" Hampton and her brothers, Horace Hampton and Dawud Hampton; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Leslie's life will be held on November 16 at 11:30 AM at Gregory-Martin Funeral Chapel, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Oho, with a viewing from 10:30 AM until the time of the funeral.

Leslie's warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a unique ability to make all feel welcome and loved, and her presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
