Linda Ann Abron was born July 17, 1950, in Jasper, Alabama to the union of the late Willie and Annie Abron.
Linda accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age at Second Baptist Church in Steubenville, Ohio.
After graduating high school, Linda moved to Cincinnati, Ohio to pursue a higher education. She studied accounting. Upon her return to Steubenville in 2014 she worked with Agape Church providing ministry support in the community.
Linda desires for you to know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of an offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with winnings greater than any casino or lottery could offer and a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where there will be plenty of socializing, dancing, crochet projects and completing puzzles to her heart's content, music, laughter, and love are guaranteed. The food is delicious and you never gain a single ounce.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon Bates; her brother, Warren G. Abron, and granddaughter, Robin Pearl.
Left to honor and remember her love is her only son, Clifford (Lynn) Abron; sister, Evon, brother, Allen (Carol); many dear grandchildren who she cherished; great-grandchildren; nephews, Allen, Brian; and nieces, Latoya, and Janeigh; great-nieces and nephews; a dear friend who was as close as a sister, Mildred Young; a special cousin Clint Thomas; two dear friends, Cedric Reece and Chris Riley, a host of other relatives and dear friends.
