IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mahogany Monet’
Brown
January 10, 1983 – September 18, 2025
Mahogany Monet' Brown, whose bright spirit touched everyone she met, passed away on September 18, 2025, at the age of 42. She was born on January 10, 1983, in Weirton, West Virginia, the daughter of Marla Tucker Stoutamire and Eric Turner.
Mahogany grew up attending Shiloh Apostolic Church in Weirton and graduated from Weir High School with the Class of 2001. She later attended West Virginia Northern Community College and most recently worked as a Gate Agent for United Airlines.
Mahogany was known for her vibrant personality, strength, and love for life. She was a bright and curious child and carried that energy into adulthood. She was a fighter who would not back down to anyone, always standing up for herself and those she loved. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, traveling, meeting new people, and collecting autographs. She had a passion for cooking, was an immaculate cleaner, and always found joy in supporting her family. Her loved ones will especially miss her late-night phone calls that often brought laughter and connection.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Frankie and Vincent Gilliam and Jessie Tucker, paternal grandparents Naomi and Harry Turner, and her adopted son Simon O'Keefe.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Onijah (Celice) Hill; parents Marla (Joe) Stoutamire and Eric Turner; siblings Dowanna (Charles) Baker, Eric Coalhouse Turner, Kristen (La'Torry) Herring, Miea Stoutamire, and Joe Jr. (Delia) Stoutamire; her cousin who was like a sister Makeba Stafford; Godparents Willa Weaver and Raynard Horston; her adopted son Miles O'Keefe; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her beloved dogs Love Bug, King, and Gus.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of her life celebration at 12:00 p.m. at the Gregory-Martin Funeral Chapel, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio. Minister Delores King will deliver the eulogy.
Mahogany's laughter, strength, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
