Obituary
Marion D. Young, 84, passed away on September 18, 2017 in White Plains MD.
She was born November 8, 1932 in Wheeling West Virginia to Herman Newman and Ruth Johnson.
She was a graduate of West Virginia State College, where she studied music, a proud member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, since 1954, and attended Quinn Memorial AME Church while living in Steubenville, Ohio.
After the passing of her husband she moved to Maryland to live with her loving devoted daughter Karen until her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Young in 2012; Marion was also preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Young, of Waldorf, Maryland; her sons, Darren Young of Albany, New York and Herman Newman, of Columbus, Ohio; Aunt Jayne Jackson of Detroit Michigan; brother and sister in law, George and Delores Young; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
