Maurice Anthony Pearson, "Moe", was born to Bernice Pearson and Tommy Jones on November 30, 1971. His life ended suddenly on Friday, August 31, 2018.

Maurice wedded the love of his life, Becky, in April 1997. Their union produced a beautiful baby girl, Zyaire Pearson. Maurice also has a son, Zane Pearson.

Maurice was a happy child with an infectious smile. Always playing practical jokes. He was a likable kid. He loved spending time with his maternal grandmother, Delores Pearson and paternal grandfather, Jerry Jones. He had lots of good friends and loving relatives. Maurice attended Big Red High School where he became an All-Star football player. He received a scholarship and finished his education at West Liberty University. He was an upstanding member of the community.

He was proceeded in death by his brother and best friend, Marlon "Spike" Pearson; his maternal grandmother, Delores Pearson; paternal grandparents Jerry and Mary Jones; Uncles Jerry Jones, Jr., Marlon Jones and Bruce Pearson.

He leaves to mourn his passing; His wife Becky Pearson; daughter Zyaire Pearson; son Zane Pearson; mother Bernice Pearson; father Thomas "Moe" Jones (Constance); five sisters, Shari, Lisa, Lois, Karmin, and Lanail; three brothers Brian "BJ", Jerry and John. Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, loving relatives and faithful friends. He will be dearly missed.
